As we enter February and Celebrate Black History Month, we take a moment to recognize and remember a Beautiful Soul that All Residents in Clarkston who knew her can count themselves as truly Blessed, Sister Betty Hasan Amin. We lost Sister Betty in January 2020 and her absence is deeply felt. Undoubtedly she would have provided some well needed wisdom during the past year of the pandemic.
Each February she would submit quotes for posting for Black History Month and we continue that process this year by posting some of her past provided quotes. Her Voice and legacy will continue.
