milamparkIn 2012 the City of Clarkston completed the Milam Park Renovation Project. With the completion of this renovation project, Clarkston residents have access to modern playground equipment, refurbished restrooms, renovated multipurpose recreation areas for soccer and baseball, new parking surfaces, refurbished pavilions with new grills and a new ADA compliant ramp and sidewalk that provides full accessibility to the entire park.

Looking for a fun and safe family environment?  Visit the new pool located in the City of Clarkston Milam Park! We offer a variety of summer aquatic programs for both children and adults.

The Milam Park Pool 2018 Season will run from the Memorial Day weekend through the Labor Day Holiday

Opened in 2012, the facility boasts a new 4,100 square foot multi-purpose zero entry pool has four (4) seventy five (75) foot long lap lanes, a wading pool and several water features and amenities.

Milam-Tennis-CourtsIn 2011 the City received a grant from USTA that allowed for the repair and resurfacing of the two existing tennis courts and convert them into one court with  (4) 36ft permanent courts and one 78ft court with 60ft blended lines. The City of Clarkston facility is the first municipal facility in the country to have completed this conversion. The USTA 10 and under initiative – which incorporates the “Quickstart” format of playing tennis, allows kids to learn real tennis and have real fun doing it. 10 and under tennis follows almost every other youth sport and uses rackets, balls, and courts that are sized right for kids so that they can enjoy and stay in the game right from the start.

clarkstondogparkThe dog park is located at Milam Park and is open daily from sunrise to sunset. The area is approximately 24,000 square feet of open space within a gated four foot chain link fence. The space offers a water fountain for both human and pet consumption and several tables and benches. The area is naturally shaded by large trees for comfort. Waste stations and bags are provided and we ask that all waste be placed in provided containers.
