City of Clarkston is hosting the second annual volunteer waterway clean up event on March 27th, 2021 at 9:00 AM at Friendship Forest Wildlife Sanctuary, (4380 East Ponce de Leon Avenue). Volunteers along with the City's Public Works staff help to clean and remove litter from our waterways and streams in the City.
• Covid-19 precautions and guidelines will be adhered to throughout the event.
Empower Clarkston offers training for green construction jobs among the city’s diverse workforce, while providing energy & water efficiency retrofits for households in need. Graduates will be placed into work opportunities upon program completion.
