Clarkston 2046 — Comprehensive Plan Goals:
Clarkston is Metro Atlanta’s global village. It is a historic, pastoral Southern City where the world’s cultures, talents, and ambitions come together to build a place that is safe, beautiful, and full of economic opportunity for every resident who calls it home.
In 20 years, Clarkston will be known as the Metro-Atlanta City where residents own or rent in clean, safe and affordable housing connected by transit and safe streets. Clarkston’s residents will have access to high performing schools, quality jobs and a vibrant downtown. Clarkston will be not merely a place where people arrive or pass through, but a City where people choose to live, work, and play.
These goals provide a strong foundation for Clarkston’s 20-year vision.
