City of Clarkston Council Unanimously Approves FY2025 Budget of $15,356,673 to Strengthen Community Services and Infrastructure
(Clarkston, Ga – November 8, 2024) — In a unanimous decision, the City of Clarkston Council has adopted the Fiscal Year 2025 budget, setting a path forward for enhanced community growth, improved infrastructure, and expanded services. Under the guiding theme, “Moving Forward, Together,” the budget reflects Clarkston’s commitment to responsible financial planning while investing in resources that meet the evolving needs of its residents.
This budget underscores the city’s balanced approach, with strategic allocations toward public safety, parks, and essential services. Notably, it includes funding for new staff in The Office of Planning and Economic Development and two summer interns, highlighting the city’s proactive stance on growth and service expansion.
Finance Director Lolita Grant commented, “The FY2025 budget was crafted with a focus on efficiency and sustainability. Each dollar is directed toward programs and services that prioritize our residents’ quality of life. This balanced budget is a testament to Clarkston’s goal of delivering value to our community.”

With a total budget of over $15 million, the FY2025 plan dedicates resources to vital infrastructure improvements, impactful community action projects, and expanded municipal services, reflecting Clarkston’s unwavering commitment to a thriving, connected community for all.
